Default New here and have a few questions for you pro's

I have a chance to purchase a 1987 Jeep Cherokee xj 4 x 4. The vehicle recently had an engine fire and will need some work. The owner has a new wiring harness, but has not put it in.
Can someone tell me what else might we be looking at replacing besides the harness and or rough costs?
Unfortunately, he sold the front and back seats, along with the drive line so I would have to replace those if I did purchase this vehicle....looking this stuff up now.

Body is clean...almost perfect, interior is in excellent shape great rubber. Price of this vehicle is 700.00. I thought if we did not have to put too much in it, it may be a good investment.

Can anyone advise me about this. I have no problem putting in a couple of thousand...just wanted to know if this will be a pain in the butt project and if it is worth the time.

Thanks for your input
