Hello, this is only my second post so I the New Guy. I have been looking at Wranglers and Cherokee's to do some off roading. The Cherokee is cheaper, so my question is I have found a 95 Cherokee with 4.0 and a 5 speed. It has 125.000 original miles for 4800. Yes it is 4x4.

It is in very good shape, but is it worth that much? Thinking I can get it for closer to 4000.

That is a pretty high price to pay for a 20 year old Jeep.

 

Get it for 3k or less.

 

3 months ago I paid $4k for mine, no rust, 190k miles, was already lifted 6.5"s, with a full set of 5 35's, regeared to 4.56 and came with a swing-away tire carrier rear bumper, interior floor was already rhino-lined, had a cd/mp3 stereo installed, owned and maintained by a mechanic as his wife's dd, engine compartment so clean I would've eaten off the thing.

 

That's a lot!
But it really depends on condition
Make sure you check underneath thoroughly for rust!

 

Depends on where you live but the price is a little on the high side, on the other hand low mileage.
