So I am a new / old cherokee owner. Just got a 1995 xj 4wd 5sp stick and not too sure I know what I have. People tell me the combo is becoming a rare find and I thought other owners would know. Fact is I am leaning toward selling and buying another with auto trans. It is in good shape with 95k miles. Has the usual defects. Already fixed the fuse box melting issue. Is it a KEEPER!

 

Keeper or not has more to do with you tolerance to the Just Empty Ever Pocket syndrom. 95K on a well maintained XJ, is just broken in.
