a few years back I had a Cherokee. Had to sell it. Always wanted another one. I found a two-door 96 Cherokee with 170,000 miles on it. Little rust in the passenger side rocker. Unibody and floors are solid. 4 pretty new tires 4.0 automatic. Guy finally called me back and said come on down. Short notice but is there anything I should look for? Pretty new to all this. The last Cherokee I had only had it for a few months. Didn't learn too much about it. From what I read 170,000 miles is nothing for these jeeps. Has it listed for 2400. Said he would take 1600 if I came down today. Thought that was little odd. Maybe he needs money who knows. Any thoughts? Thanks guys

The 96's had a one of a kind fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator. No replacements except for the bone yard.

If can see a little rust there will be a lot of rust where you can't see it.
