Default NEED to LIFT my 01 Jeep Cherokee

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4 door 4x4 and i want to lift it... however i am new at this and have absolutely no idea what i am doing or what i need to do this. Please give me any advice you think would be good to know. I probably will be on the road more than off roading but my stock cherokee is just not ballsy enough for me.....thanks

Lmfao....

Dude just buy a 3 inch lift... add a leaf, new coil springs and shocks... sounds like you really don't know much so Id take it to a shop to install. Check out rough country or rustys.. cheapest lifts out there

Take it to a local offroading shop and tell them you want a 3 inch Rough Country lift kit. Go go go.

the reason they are being so hard on you is because ur first post would indicate that you didn't even bother using the search function. also we arn't mind readers. so here is some ?'s for ya.

1. what size lift do you think you want? so you need to go here. read the rules on this thread. DO NOT post ?'s there. get an idea of what you want her to look like.
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/xj...up-thread-260/

2. what size tires do you want? with that; are you will to reagear for 33's and up.

at 3" you will mostlikely not have to go real deep into accomodating mods that are required for lifts 3.5" and above.

how much are you willing to spend to make it bad as hell and be completely road worthy and trail worthy.

Specifically what kind of wheeling are you planning on? exmpl... mudding, rock crwlng, or just trails and ruts.

we need to know where you want to take this prodject before we can guide you through it. we are here to help.

You'll need about 10 grand and with some over night parts from Japan, it will decimate all.
Might even be ready in time for race wars.

My advise is to read up on everything Cherokee, get well educated on your vehicle before buying parts, lift kits, tires etc. also usually the bigger you go the more expensive it gets, most people do the 4.5" lift with 33s some do the 3" with 31s and some people go really big when it comes to lifting and tires. But make it your own, I'm building 3" lift with 35s and trimmed fenders because its a DD and I don't need all that lift for the wheeling I do and I love big tires on Cherokees and I think the low lift with BF tires looks aggressive and not all up in the air and goony.
