Still worth it IMO, it takes a fair bit of throttle to spin these in snow and before I did them I could light them up easily in the rain. Mine are also grooved but I did that for rocks, not snow.

Yeah they kick *** in literally everything I've thrown at them, even smoother and nicer on the street

Let me just let the people who use the tires in snow, and have rated them, talk for me since my current location of residence has suddenly rendered my years of snow experience useless to some people that are rather fast to judge and jump the gun:

Oh and same to you.

I have a set of 33x12.5 studded duratracs. They're great tires on snow and ice. I have A/Ts last winter and the duratracs are WAYYYYYYYY better. There is no comparison between the 2. I vote on getting proper winter tires and not ruining the ones you have now

Duratracs come siped and ready for studs. I paid 25$ a tire to have them studded

Well everyone, I got my 33/12.50 BFG MT's siped todat and their is tons of snow and ice on the roads and holy sh@#!!!! It helped sooo much with stopping on hills, braking, and general driving. I advize anyone who has MT's and are not doing so well in snow and ice to get them siped. Thanks all for your input. P.S... The tires also do very well in deep snow.
If you aren't doing highway speeds, just around town, drop the pressure a little bit. Last winter, dropping to 20psi was the only way I could keep my old bald MTRs on the road
