Need help diagnosing my jeep!!
Ok so everything was all fine until one day I left my house and not even ten minutes later the temp gage went from normal to the red in just a second than all of the lights came on and it stalled and turned off. Took it back to the house, drained the radiator hose and it looked like muddy water. Replaced the water. Next day I test drive it and it did the same thing. Let it sit for bout a week than I checked everything and drove it for about 5 miles with no problem.. Stopped to air up the tire and when I went to take off it overheated within a second, all the lights came on and it stalled and died. A few possibilities I got from ppl are water pump, cracked head or blown gasket.. Idk! Any input or thoughts would help. I'm going to have someone look at it. Last person that did doesn't know what it is n just wants to replace the motor all together. The radiator also has a crack

Are you leaking any fluid? If any fluid is leaking on your distributor, that would explain why it's dying. In fact, this just happened to me recently.
The cracked radiator would explain the overheating. Replace that.
You could always go ahead and replace the water pump (they're only like $30), and see if that fixes it before you look into a cracked head or gasket. Do you have a 2000 or 2001?

I'm so confused. His profile says he has a Cherokee, now we're talking about a Grand Cherokee.
