Lightbulb My wife can't get into my jeep after I lifted it!

My wife asked me if I could put a step for her so she can ride with me. What will fit from other trucks?

Get a bunk bed ladder from a "Good Will Store", Cut it down to right height. Keep it in the back, Till she needs it.

okay so i have given this some thought. If you wheel it, which obviously you do you dont want the universal step on there all of the time as it will get hung up and cause some damage. So i looked over at the bike rack that i made and the idea came to me!

get one of the universal steps from the parts store (the one you drill and bold to the underside of the floor boards, its a small single step) then put a set of carriage bolts on it and bolt them down tight to and square to where you still have the square bottom useable.

Then get a piece of square tubing(just big enough to fit the bolt in) and cut a notch in it for the square bottom of the bolt head to slide into snuggly. make a little lip on the front end where you slide the bolt into so it cant fall out. and BAMM once the square tube is mounted up to the underbody there is a removable step that you can add for her and take off while wheeling.

i will see if i have time to make something in CAD for you to show what i am talking about

I took a girl out that was wearing a skirt, she jumped in butt first so she didnt have to lift her leg. she jumped a little too high and hit her head on the roof of the jeep. Hilarious! haha. Gotta love having a lifted jeep.

Get a stirrup like on a saddle. I've actually seen some advertised in 4wheel mags awhile back. Use the bolt the holds the seat down to attach it. Pull it out when she wants to get in and out. She can easily bend over and pick it up and put it in the area between the seat and the door.

my wife is 5'2" her method is to get on her tip toes and grab the O-**** handle and use it to pull themselves up enough to get a foot into the door opening. this method also works well with dresses and skirts... hmm reminds me i gotta get around to removing those doors...
