Default My poorly XJ is nearly ready for the road

This is what I have done to my XJ in the last 3 weeks since buying it,when i picked it up i thought it may need some work, little did i know 1200 pounds later I would only then be doing the last few bits to get it Road worthy.
I absolutely love my Rockee now and can say for certain that i know every inch of it every bolt torque setting, all because all of it has been apart.
The way i look at it is that the lasy guy that had it was a doouche to let it get soo run down and also a dick because instead of trying to sort the issues,he tried to make My Rockee die a sad death,by not dealing with the issues
Radiator
Waterpump
Fan Clutch
Belt
Manifold swapped out for the uprated Flexi one
Reshaped Sump to enable easy removal
Thermostat
Front Discs and Pads
Crank Position Sensor
Cam Sensor
Dist cap and Rotor
Leads
Plugs
Oil
Coolant
Trans oil
ECU....!!!
Differential
main diff master kit
under sealed
engine sprayed up
wheel bearings on both rears
seals on both rear axels

So time for some Pictures then.

This is the typical wiring that was all through the Jeep, just had connectors shoved into ports and taped over!!!!

With there being cracks in the manifold i needed to replace it and iIt took 5 hours to get it all stripped down, then a further few hours to clean it up and get ready for new gasket.

Good job, glad to see an xj is in good hands now. I'm going through a ford bronco 2 i recently purchased. The previous owner didn't notice the gushing leak in the radiator and overheated the motor to the point of cracking both heads.

You should spray both sides of the gasket.

As far as i can see the spider gears look fine,i touched up the edges as they were a little burred, also have re-set and shimmed them and now have less than 0.04 thou slack, which should be good to go
