I picked up a Rustys 6.5 short arm lift off of craigslist for 350. It was missing the jks quick disconnects and the shocks were blown, but other than that it was still a steal. They retail for about 1100! So after a weekend what i was able to get done was the front and most of the back until a rusty bolt broke off in the center of my old, worn out, leaf springs. Had to call a heavy machine mechanic to help us get it out. Other than the occasional stubborn bolt and dirt in the eyes, we did not have to many un-solvable problems. And no i do not have a slip yoke eliminator or drive shaft yet, that is next on my list... Enjoy my pictures!

Nah I'd just sell the control arms to help pay for a long arm set up.

Nice lookin' XJ, man. I agree on the need for bigger shoes lol. Is that a custom rear bumper with stock end caps stuck on?

Looks like your shackle angle is terrible, or is 45 degrees either direction okay? And why do you still have the rear sway bar?

If you can see the top of your tire from the bottom of your bumper, it's time for bigger tires lol and I'd get some longer shackles if i were you, ps ditch that rear sway bar

Well i have extended shackles that add about an inch and a half to the rear making it look weird compared to the front and why ditch the rear sway? And yes for the fiftieth time i know i need bigger tires but that is a lot of money i don't necessarily have at the moment.
