My jeep hit 280K miles today!!!
Bought the car for $1300 with 220K miles and changed the cooling system and exhaust and suspension..(shocks..control arms..jks budget boost...and it runs like a raped ape!!!! I hope to hit the 300K mile mark soon

i had a 91 with 250 on the clock and it ran better than new
you should have no issues with hitting 300k in that thing
keep up on oil changes and other routine stuff and it will be fine
i'd bet money the body will give out before the powertrain will (if you live in the salt belt like me)
