really icey roads last night in NJ. making my way home from a friends house i was hit head-on in the driver headlight by a v8 exploder at 35-40 mph. he lost control on the ice i had nowhere to go trees on both sides. i was doing about 30-35. my jeeps destroyed, whole left fender and all is like gone. left side doors are caved in. roof caved in a little. all of the dash peices exploded out like the radio and such. but im here. both airbags deployed and did their job. so to anyone who tries to tell you that all jeeps are metal deathtraps tell them think again because mine may be the reason im typing this message today

Sorry to hear about your accident. Glad to hear that you are unscathed (other than your Jeep). Was the other driver as fortunate as you were to be OK? 30 - 35 mph is quite a impact for a head on from both parties.

Bad weather really takes its toll it seems, every year gets worse. I'm more and more weary about driving in it anymore. Not that I don't trust my driving capabilities, just everyone else out there.
