Default My 1999 two door story..

Hi again from a very long time, jeep Cherokee again but 2 Door this time..

This well be my 4th cherokee and my 6th jeeps (98-5.9 ,wrangler2006)
here is the story ..

I decide with a friend to be in the USA for a short trip we choose NYC,NJ for a week then to Las vegas and Los angeles for other week ..

week before flight got a call from one of our XJ off road friends asking me if i want to sell my 2000 cherokee (I don't want to sell but hey way not i still got a wrangler) tell him 5000$ he accepts immediately without thinking now it got around 190k miles in a great shape here is the link if you want to see it .. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/can-i-fix-187329/

While in flight to NYC got a WhatsApp msg from other friend asking me if i want to sell my 2006 wrangler (No way winter is on the way he say think about it i say ok but seriously no way..

2nd day in the trip before sleeping saw an Ebay auction for 99 2Door cherokee with no reserve 55k miles here is some pics from the auction ..

This 2Door was in Scio NY around 5 hour driving from manhattan without thinking bid and won the auction for 7k ..

Call the seller the next day tell him i well pay cash contact my shipping company to arrange the shipping to Duabi every thing go smooth without problems except my girlfriend was upset she is coming for a nice trip not for jeeps
Tell her go shopping i well not be late call my friend he is from NJ asking him if he is free and can we go to Scio (if not i well rent a car) but he was free and happy to make the long trip ..

Here is where every things changed from a leisure trip to a business trip without planing ..

Arrived to the middle of nowhere he was a friendly owner with his wife a small dealer total of 6 cars .. make the payment payed 7k jeep was clean drives like new no rust was most of its life in Florida .. take a pic for the owner and his wife with the jeep as a reminder take a photo of the cars in his dealer send it to our friends .. immediately after posting the pic got a call asking me about that 1992 ford silver bronco in his dealer, long story short bought total of 3 vehicles from him (and 8 other cars from private sellers and deferent dealers) gave me 300 discount on the jeep and i add 220 as profit on every car , shipping also gave me a better price for shipping more cars and 3 motorcycles ..

check it wile offloading from contaner ..

to be continued , yes GF is upset but i well take her to maldives soon

Man, when I impulse shop, I buy snacks or maybe an extra detailing supply or two. I guess that's a difference between U.S.A. and U.A.E.

Hope this story help someone in the future .. here is the jeep today ..

It's higher in the back but the stock rims in the trunk make the jeep look lower
just change the stock rims to this gtwheels tyre size
225/75/15

not the best location for v71 but it's fine for me plus no problems offrodaing except for the sand come between the screen and the mount .. this is ram mount and it's fantastic ..
short clips from our first trip to the desert ..

end of story .. well be happy to answer any questions ..

I appreciate you sharing these with us. Yep... That's what Jeeps are made for! What did everyone think of the Jeep when you got it there?
