Default Moving up in the world!

alright guys so hears the story. i got a 3" Rough Country aal kit about 2 months ago and it just isnt big enough for my taste. im gonna go up to 4.5"-5" ish and my question is whats the best way to go about it? i know im gonna have to go with new leaf packs cause an aal with shackles wont cut it, but what about the front. should i keep the 3" coils and just get spacers or go up to 5" coils? and any other suggestions you might have please let me know.

Get the new coils up front too, they're stiffer than the 3" springs so you don't get as much body roll as you would with the 3" springs and the spacers on top. Also get a nice double sheer adjustable track bar, and some longer lower control arms or a control arm drop bracket. You'll be needing to extend the brakelines, which isn't hard, you can just some from autozone for a 95 wrangler, they bolt right up and are longer. you can also relocate brakeline brackets on the body a little closer to your axle. At that height it's time to start considering an SYE and a better steering setup too.

^good advice! At about the 4" mark it seems like a lot of people can get away w/o a SYE by combining shims and a front DS (and/or a TC drop).. But a hack and tap set up is better than what I just suggested and generally cheaper than a full SYE kit. My .02!

i had a 3" RC lift and i wanted more to so i put some 2" coil spacer on the front $35 and some factory shackles off of a full size chevy truck they work great bolts rite up and lifts ur rear 1.50" and the shocks that came with ur 3" RC will be fine with a 5" lift believe me i kn bc i ran them on my 5" lift and i even ran them for a while on my 6.5" lift and i still had ok flex so u will be fine and im still running factory brake lines but i could use so longer one
