thats wierd, i was very unaware that they had a OEM tire carrier.

yeah its not very good for any sizeable tires because it actually mounts to the body of the jeep though as well as the bumper

not often u see one

it is oem. but i thought they only came on select early cherokee's 84-88 or something like that.
could have been added through the years.

my 88 had one, but it was torn off by the previous owner

I have tested a 33-12.50-15 on it and it fit. Didnt think it would next ill try a 35 and see what will happen
