Default Mopar collapsible pet kennel part # 82213729

I just picked up my 14 TH yesterday. The primary reason I bought it was to cart around my 65 lb Golden Retriver, she did not like to ride in my G6, the whole bucket seats thing.

My question is about the Mopar collapsible pet kennel part # 82213729. I cant find the mesurements for it anywhere. Before spending the money I would like to make sure my dog will fit into it.

I am also looking at the Mopar cargo area liner to use with the kennel. My wife will not let me even put my dog into the new car without adding some protection to the back. She is afraid that the gold hair and black carpet will not mix very well.

Any additional info anyone can provide on these two products would be a great help.

Thanks

Lime

Firstly, welcome to the forum. Second, you might get more response in the KL section of the site. I don't have much to offer as far as advice, other than call Mopar and see if they have the measurements, and for the floor protection in the back, yeah, I would get it , but dog hair has a funny way of finding it's way into everything, LOL...some protection would only help though...

Sorry, I feel like the only thing the 2 vehicles share is a name.

Probably true. The XJ wasn't welcomed by the CJ and SJ fans initially either.

But the xj has way more in common with the cj and so then it does with the kl that shares the same name

Times change. The XJ came out in 84. That's 30 years ago.

It's not uncommon for car companies to resurrect old names for current models.

Dodge Dart, Chrysler 300, Magnum, Challenger, Charger, Ram, Power Wagon.

That's just Chryco.

Chevy Malibu, etc. And I came up with those at 5 aM and no coffee yet.

Give me a break. If it bothers you that we have a KL forum, don't visit it.

Seriously. People still taking their time to go into a thread that doesn't pertain to an xj just to bash. So sad.
