Well... it seems that my string of successful transactions has come to an end. I was contacted by a member in response to a wtb ad I posted. We came to terms and I sent the money via paypal. The last payment was Feb 15. He said he'd pull the parts and ship the next day and advise the tracking number.

Well... that didn't happen. All subsequent communication has been me asking (very nicely) if the parts had been shipped yet about once a week to be told "Didn't get a chance" "sorry been busy" etc.

I'm not going to release the name of this member (yet) in the hopes that he comes through and I'm just being a little paranoid. I realise that ****/life happens But $260 is a fair chunk of change and i don't think communicating with me to keep me in the loop is asking too much. unfortunately, my gut is telling I'll never see the goods.

How disappointing.

sounds like you got hosed man. that sort of behavior from people really messes with my Zen thing i got going on.

I'm still holdin out hope. Not much, mind you. But yeah. I'm literally losing sleep over this: it's almost 4 am, I have to work @ 7:30 and I can't sleep.

I'd almost rather get a message saying "hahahaha you *******! I just hosed your ***! You'll never get the parts!" than wonder if I'm jumping the gun with the accusation.

If you used paypal file a dispute. You'll get your money back and his account will get banned or something like that

Hahaha. I didn't realise that PayPal had a dispute process. of course, it makes sense that they would, I just never thought about it because I've never needed to.

Anyhow, dispute is filed.
