Default maxxis bighorn or maxxis buckshot?

debating between a few different tires and i was wondering what you guys run and what are some good options

i will be using them for both road and offroad driving and want them to last me worth my money

the two maxxis tires i was lookin at are cheap and look to have good tread pattern and all but i really dont know whats good or not

I'm not sure about the buckshot, but I have the maxxis bighorns and I love them. They did great in the sand and snow. Haven't had them in the mud too much yet.

If you get buckshots get a size bigger cause they run short. The bighorns do well in mud, rocks etc and tend to wear better than the buckshots. Just wish you could still get the old bias buckshots, the newer ones have a different pattern and are decent in mud and that's about it.

My Nissan has 33" Buckshots on it and i just put a good used set of 31" Bighorns on my XJ.. So ive got both.. Thats a tough decision because, either way you wont go wrong, i do like the tread pattern on the Bighorn better, but ive had my Nissan in places Yota's with TSL's had trouble and my ole buckshots griped and went right on. The Bighorns do make more noise on the road then the buckshots.

I have had my bighorns for a year now and they are great. i had them in the GA red clay and they still cleaned themselves out nicely. lol i had my wheelwells packed with 2-3" thick mud and only open f/r. So they will be good in mud for sure. Also i dd my jeep 40 miles m-th on the hwy and into the city in atlanta no complaints.
