Matte/Flat/Satin black paint?
I know the more common variant around here is the bedliner paint job. This is for an on-road DD, and i'm looking to repaint it something a little more original than the stock gloss black.
The biggest problem i'm having is what paint to use? I have an airless sprayer and compressor to use with it, but I don't have any examples of what paints come out nicely.
I found pictures of this XJ about a year ago on Google and have loved the paint ever since, but I have no way to figure out the paint used. The user hasn't logged into his account in 2 years, and I can't find any other info from the account. Here's some pictures:

Anybody got a clue? I'd like to buy quarts of paint and not rattle can it.

I've been hearing alot of good things about the interlux brand of paints. There's a few threads around here that show step by step, and it always seems to look good and hold up in the long run. I believe it's made for yahts so it's made to last.

Satin Black/ Semi-Gloss Black is my favorite paint, I used it for my bumpers, fender flares and grill. In Rusteloum I nelieve semi-gloss is their Satin Black and Krylon it's Satin Black. I was at home depot and noticed they dropped their price and I got the rusteloum to try it and it matched up fine with the Krylon Satin Black I had previously used.

Does that come in anything other than rattle cans? I've got access to an HLVP sprayer and compressor, along with someone who has the skill to paint a car with one, so I'd like to buy a gallon of paint and call it a day. I've already spent enough time with rattle cans on my first coat of primer and after ~$70 worth of cans, and a still noticeable streaks, i'd prefer to not use anymore cans.
But yeah, I've found that matte black is just a more unfinished primer look, where satin or semi-gloss has a little bit of a shine to it, just not a full-gloss. I really like that.
