Default Making my own roof basket

I'm making my own roof basket for my XJ, and I've never done anything like this before. I was wondering if any of you guys with experience in this or have built your own, could tell me where I should start and how much it caught you guys to build. I want it to look like the one in the link attached! Thanks guys. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004O8...1653960&sr=8-1

To build one like that you will probably spend close to that in materials just to build it so you would be better off buying it.

I just built a basic conduit rack for $50 total. You might look into doing something like that.

Wrong section buddy, fab is for actual fabrications ie: pics of progress, etc....

If your bouncing ideas, that's a Cherokee chat kind of thing.

^ what he said, you could do it... but in the end its gonna be faster / cheaper / easier to just buy that style basket.
