Hey all i have been wanting a Lund sunvisor for my XJ, but i see they are no longer made. I saw a couple of copies on EvilBay but some reviews say they are cheaply made and dont fit right.
I run my own business making high end fiberglass costume pieces, mostly Star Wars related, for Cosplayers and collectors. It is not beyond my capability to 3D model, finish, mold and produce something like this in fiberglass in small batches. It would be a bit expensive to mold something this size, but i feel if there is enough interest in them it could be worth it. What do you guys think? Is there enough interest for these, or should i just try and find one and hope it fits? As long as it is fiberglass i could probably adjust the size /fit if need be since i can work with fiberglass, but if there is interest i wouldnt mind making some for the community!

 

Mmmmmmaybe not worth it eh? lol Worse case i'll buy one of the copies and modify if need be to fit my XJ.

 

I've been debating, and still am, considering picking one up. The low price on the fleabay ones kind of make me want to risk it.
