Default Looking for recommended brush guard!

Hey guys!

I'm looking for a decent brush guard for my new cherokee. Any recommendations?

I ebay'ed them, but didnt come up with a whole lot of results. Figured someone on here would know a good place to get one from would be.

Not looking to spend a ton of money on it, and I also dont plan to ever install a winch, so it shouldnt have the setup for that.

Thank you for any and all help!

Thought about a whole bumper? Nates are "cheap" and are built right.

I got a stock one off Craigslist. Honestly that's your best bet. Was listed for about 9 minutes and then I jumped on it. There's a chance you could find one in a junkyard but all the Cherokees here don't have them. Just the blazers and imports.

Here's mine:

i actually saw both of those guards on ebay. the first one caught my attention because it has the hooks in the front. i see it replaces the bumper, but what about the bumper guards that protect crappola from getting up into the engine? i cant tell from the one or two pics he has if the new bumper compensates for this. i hope that makes sense, i may not have said it the best...

as for the second, i was going to go with that one but wanted to look around some more first.

As far as protecting the jeep a brush guard that bolts on the stock bumper is more for looks then anything. You can get a true off road bumper cheap from one of our vendors https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f10/

Btw it doesn't come tow hooks. I got those at harbor freight for $10 each. You will also need tow hook brackets to add a brush guard. Not all Cherokees came with the bracket. Brackets are $50-75 online. So $50 brackets, $20 hooks, + cost of brush guard. You might be better off getting an actual offroad bumper.

Guess I'll be the first one to say make your own. It's not hard once you decide what you want it to look like
