As the title states, I am looking into getting a Cherokee in the near future possibly to start wheeling. Seems like a decent vehicle to do it in, and has easy access to the rear seats for kids. Pretty good aftermarket it looks like to. What are the good years to try and get? Things to avoid and look for that could show signs of abuse. What are your recommendations to look for option wise? Any rare options I should try and hunt for when buying one?

Just about every cherokee has been abused to normal car standards, but they can take hell thats why there so awsome. Just about everything your asking depends on the seriousness of what you want to do. What are the wheelin conditions around where you are? Mud, rocks,sand?? That plays a big role. You will be happy with any cherokee!
