Looking Back
Anyone else ever look at old pics of their Jeep and kinda miss when it was more stock? I don't know, it's weird- I love everything I've done to it, and how much better it performs, as well as how awesome it looks now... but I'm just looking back at old pictures, and a part of me really misses when I had no lift, a stock bumper, everything just factory. I guess it's just fond memories.
Well, maybe it wasn't 100% stock, PO put spacers and lift shackles, but it was "stock" to me.

Just think. It's the journey created by building it and fixing it and caring for it that has made us all love our jeeps so much. Perhaps you partly want it stock again to experience the journey of building it up again?
Wow... that was pretty philosophical of me, wasn't it?

I look at my Jeep now, compared to the **** poor condition it was in when I bought it, and just kind of admire the work I've done to it. Lots of hard work and sweat put into it always turns out to be worth it. I feel much prouder to drive it too.

You know, i have sometimes wished for it to be stock again due to complications from modifying. But it had problems when i got it and i love the way it is now. I know now that i have built something cool and have done stuff that noone else has. And if i am ever longing for my jeep to be stock i just walk outside and stare - no more longing.
Pic 1 is right after i got it 7 years ago.
Pic 2 is current.
