First, how does a no slip compare to a LSD. I was going to order an aussie locker and the guy at the shop said a no slip was stonger and smoother than a locker. I know smoother, but stronger? I thought that no slips like Power trax were the same as LSD. Just would like to know before i buy anything.

They work exactly the same as an Aussie just don't click. If you don't mind the occasional click then save the 100-150 bucks and go with an Aussie. I ran them front and rear for years and loved them. The only real weakness to any lunchbox locker is the stock carrier.

Well i asked about the no slip because the shop arround here doent carry aussie and i dont want to ship anything. The no clicking would be nice and sence i can pick it up and have it installed same day then ill go with the Power trax. Itll only take a week or 2 to save up a little more money.
I recently installed a powertrax no slip in my 8.25c/ 29 spline. I love it! I doesn't make a bit of noise, the only thing that I have any complaint about is it stays locked when accelarating around a corner. If you coast around a corner it acts like a stock unit. I've also noticed a little more backlash sound in the differential when going from fwd to rev and back. It really woke my XJ up, worth every penny.
