Default Locker or sye?

I'm at 3-3.5"s right now on 31s I am running a 1" tcase drop kit to cure my vibes. Now I have sitting at my house an extended shackle for 2"s of lift and a 1.75" coil spacer. Id like to throw on. But at the same time I need to do an axle seal in the front diff and I figured if I'm going to rip it apart I could throw an Aussie in there. I need to pick only one though right now because i need to do a clutch and flywheel on the stang and that is going to eat at a lot of my funds.

So which would you choose? Sye front zj shaft and throw more lift at the truck? Or leave it at the height it is and get a locker for the front? This is my dd that sees some occasional wheeling

Here's how the truck sits now.

Your XJ looks great, My XJ is at about 5.5" w/33" BFG's. If you do the lift, you'll probably want tires (33" or 35") right away to make it look right. I'd say stay at your height now & do the lockers and such if you wheel your rig. Next do the SYE & D.S., then do the lift, then tires. 33" or 35" tires doesn't make the best DD.

Good luck.

If you lift it 2 more in it will look like crap with this size tires. So go for the locker. Dont lift it until you need/want bigger tires. Nothing on the Jeep looks worse then having too much lift for the tire you are running.

Yeah ill probably grab the locker. I have a decent amount of ground clearance for the wheeling I do. It killed me the other day though when I couldn't get up a hill and I just watched the passenger front and rear tires spin while the ones on the driver side did nothing lol
