Update, been driving around all day and it's great. Feels just like it did when the locker went in!

Today I decided to order the new spring and pin kit from Aussie letting them know why it went bad. They said they would send me a free set and some extras to make sure it will be reinstalled correctly. By the way I found that my center pin was ground down by a grinder to fit past the ring gear. So I have a new center pin ready to go. I am really impressed by their customer service.

I had great experiences with them. Being that they are now produced about 5 miles from my work. I ordered 2 for my jeep and I actually picked them up at the guys house because I couldn't make it there before they closed

I understand that the center pin should never be shaved. It's a ring tooth that is ground for clearance.
Perhaps the center pin was the problem because it changed the gap of the locker.

Doesn't make sense that tire pressure could cause damage given the insane amount of crazy forces going on while on a rocky trail.

Tire pressure wil make them bind and pop, but it ultimately was the center pin causing so much slop.
