I am just looking at prices and comparing quality for my first lift kit. I should have one in by the winter. i dunno how much you plan to lift it but there are always god junkyard upgrades out there that can kick the snot out of a kit... both in price and quality JMO
i lifted my xj 4.5 up front and almost 6 in the back (still messing with the leaf springs to get it right) all for about 80 bucks thanks to a buddys help and my local pick n' pull
