Well.. I got this little beast from my little brother when he got a Liberty and the wife told me one too many times she thinks I'm having my midlife crisis. So I bought it off him. I had hoped it would be a good base but had to drop a lot of money into it just to get it on the road. I am thinking about a little lift, 3.5, and some better tires. Going to be doing lights and bumpers with a little cutting but not a 100% yet.
Most of the planning will be done this winter but I am thinking it will end up being my camping getaway and the OH S***, get out of the city vehicle.

Wow that is clean....Exact color combo I've wanted with an XJ for a long time. Sorry to hear about your transmission but I hope your able to do your 4x4 swap. It might even be cheaper for you then getting your trans rebuilt

Yeah she is very pretty and in amazing shape. Unfortunately I decided I had to go with the trans rebuild as I wanted reliability. That and I don't really need 4wd. Just wish I had it. Did get them down to 1100 out the door. Still with warranty.

Sounds like a good deal then, glad you were able to sort everything out and hopefully you can get it right back on the road.

Thanks! The previous owner has had it rustop undercoated since 2004 and there's only 2 small rust spots on the body, both of which I plan on patching. And it'll look much better by the time I'm done with all the work I'm doing to it
