Im lifting my 96 cherokee 6.5 in. The kit I bought doesn't come with the slip yolk and the extended drive shaft. Would I be able to drive without these? For how long? And which one should be done first

Well, your jeep will have a slip yoke from the factory, I think you are referring to a slip yoke eliminator. Depends on how much you wheel and honestly, each individual jeep. If it won't even see parking lot curbs you will Probly be ok for a bit, but you will burn through u joints and I bet right now it gets driveline vibes out the wazoo. And you need to get the two in conjunction with eachother.

i drove mine for a few month daily and wheeled it pretty hard and had no issues w minimal vibrtions. Def a great purchase to get an sye. might want to look into it but to save money i think you can get a front driveshaft from a v8 grand cherokee to use are your rear.

Im running a 6.5" lift on 33's and a transfer case drop with factory rear drive shaft and have no vibrations at all. And have done alot of wheeling and thus far have had no problems. Its been this way now for about 4 months. I do have an sye I just haven't had time to install it yet. And yes I you can use either a xj or zj front drive shaft for the rear.

I'm running 6.5 and drove it for about a month with out. You will definitely be happy when you do get it. Piece of mind.... Iron rock off road makes a decent priced hack n tap. That's what I'm running.
