Default Lift Suggestions

First off, Merry Christmas to you all. i hope you guys got what you wanted!

I need help on deciding what to do for my new lift. I have a rough country 4" lift that has been on my cherokee since i bought it...it is a piece of crap (and a short arm) and im looking for a new one.

Do i want to work for months and save up for a 5.5" RE long arm, or just go with a 4.5 rough Country long arm and put some shackles and coil spacers in it?

I am in high school and barely affording gas lol...any input guys?

Talking Do It In Steps

If you want it to ride better find a LA conversion kit I think RC offers one. That will improve driving on & offroad. Then see how it rides any lift you get over 3" should be LA & its not going to ride like car anymore its gonna ride stiffer. If your still not satisfied but you wanna keep it around 4" try changin springs & shocks around. If you bought RC 4" kit with add a leaf get some rear springs after LA that will improve driving too.

first off. why do you say the current lift is crap? Personally if I were you I'd get the RC long arm upgrade kit, and throw a spacer up front to fit whatever tire you want. if the back is sagging(most likely from an AAL kit) then I'd get some 3 or 3.5" rear leaf packs and put a shackle on them to gain more lift.

the long arms seem like a good start. and yes RC not only does have them but they are the cheapest bet. Ive been considering mixing the lift not getting one entire thing.

My lift now was put on my the previous owner, he babied it, called it the street princess. and it is extremely stiff no matter what i do. Even has rust spots pretty bad some places. Im looking for about 5.5" of height...is that okay to put a 1.5" spacer in my coils?
