Lift-Mate 'Foot' Measurement
I have made a Lift-Mate myself as it is easy for me to fabricate rather than pay the money for one. It works fine, but the 'Foot' that rests against the tire pushes in on the tire quite a bit. It has me questioning if I made the 'foot' large enough. Could someone with a lift-mate measure the 'foot' that pushes against the face of the tire for me? Thanks all.

Thanks for the measurement Steve. I made mine about that size. I am running 15x8 Cragar Soft 8s with 33x12.5s. The wheels have 4" of backspacing. When I lift the wheel (w/ 29 PSI in it) it pushes the sidewall of the tire in considerably. Does yours push the tire in much?

I have 10.5" wide tire on an 8" wheel. Usually fit the hooks at hub height and spread out so that foot will contact some of rim edge like in above reference picture.
