so you want to clear a 255/75/17? that is a 32" tire. you need at minimum a 4.5" lift with out much trimming. or you can get away with a 3" with 32's and a bit more trimming.

How bout a 3 inch to start with then add longer shackles n 4.5 coil springs. Will I need the transfer drop.

You need it at three. Anything over you'll want an SYE

Yup... or you can just trim without lifting it at all, get longer shocks to provide you with more down travel, bumpstop to limit uptravel, and have a low-cog rig. There's endless possibilities at play here.

You know those rims are off a jk and wrong bolt pattern right ?The tjs are 16s those will bolt on.

Is it possible to put a 97-01 rear hatch on the 84-96 cherokees so you can use the newer style tail lights

it is yes... but not worth the hassle of trying to get everything to line up right and then there is all the cutting and welding. ODgreen on here did it. it's a big PITA.

What all has to be cut n welded you can't just bolt on the new hatch n replace the lights

About 30 hours of metal work. You have to replace all the body from the latch to the roof.
