lift coil options..

lift coil options..
get a pretty good at the local junk yard.. just wondering if there is any other vehicles i can pull a set of lift coils off of for the front of my 00' xj. i know i can run zj springs from a v8 and get an inch but is there any other coils i can use to maybe get 3-4" or 10" and just cut um?

Yeah you can also use the front coils on
V6 Ford thunder birds and cougars
I hear that the f150 spring are super stiff
in the Cherokees, and ride like crap.
These are supposed to be a better ride

They are stiff, but if you have a winch bumper, like my buddy did that told me about these the added weitght balances it out. Just what I was told.

Lift Coils are nice and cheap ~$100
I would invest in some new ones and Do it right. Then you can bastard pack the rear if you want as well.

I would tend to agree.
There's another member here in dville around the corner from me who has rc 4.5s with 2" spacers and a basstard pack rear.
Looks VERY good and with minor trimming he's clearing 38s.
But Its really just up 2 owner... ~Paul
