Lets talk price
I buy and sell cars for many years ,most of them Japanese cars when i want some thing like JMC or Jeep (american cars) i contact my friend in Texas Huston (this 5-6 years ago ) and he buy me from local auctions and some time i found it online and tell him about it ,
remember that i bought jeep xj for maximum 1700 (1000-1700) (97+ only) super clean , i bring like 50 xj over the years to my country and sell them here for good prices .
now the price in my country cheaper than USA check this web site www.dubizzle.com
1 usa dollar 3.7 UAE dirham they sell the xj between (10000-18000)
thats 2700-5000 $
if i decide to bring xj now i well lose or i well got very low profit 500$ maximum because i well add shipping price around 900 RORO for every xj or around 3000 for 4 xj
The strange thing is the Grand cherokee is a lot cheaper (94-2002) here !!
whats exactly going on !!

The Grand is a good value but less aftermarket support.

Maybe it's time to branch out, and switch to importing and selling a different type of automobile . I would think these would be a big seller over by you. There is thousands of these VW beetles in Mexico. Cheap and easy to build. A blast to drive. And in arid conditions. I would gladly take one of these over a 4x4.
