Lets talk about my stock trackbar
I have a 3 inch lift on my Jeep, and I still use the stock trackbar. I havent had a problem with it yet and it aligns just fine. Im about to buy some 10" travel Bilsteins, anyone happen to know offhand whether it will bind on full droop, im thinking no but i'm not sure.
Also as far as strength, anyone ever broken their stock one? I'm just trying to figure out whether its worth the money for a flashy adjustable one.
I hear alot of terrible things about the cheap aftermarket ones and dont want to either get burned by having a cheap one break or spend like 300+ bucks on a Rockkrawler or T&T one.
What does CF think?

i broke my stock one.... It also took a major hit to the drivers side at 30 into a ditch.... I never had my stock one bind up, it just bent the corner of the mount actually. nothing major, just clearanced itself.
when i broke my stock track bar i didnt actually brake it, instead i bent it about 8" to short. had to get towed home (120 miles) cause it also broke my lower control arm mounts and dented my upper arms. lesson learned thought

on my wifes XJ I actually cut the stock track bar and lengthened it by sleeving it with thick wall tubing plug welding it and then welding up the ends. it has been fine for over 6 years now.

Check out Iron Rock Offroad. They have one for about $140.
