SO I pulled the lil 4 banger today, but before I did we found a few things just taking the head off.
I know whats wrong, but lets see if anyone else can see a FEW problems?????????

Well, of course, the first problem I see is that it's a four-banger! 
Well, there's some obvious carbon build up, but the pic really isn't big enough to get much detail. That said, let's see, numbering from left to right....
Looks like you might have some head gasket problem between 2 & 3. Or maybe you just cleaned up there?
Maybe a coolant leak problem between 3 & 4.
Do you have some gouges or chips below #1?
Definitely some grunge in the coolant passages.

BTW
Number one is on the right. I placed the head facing the front like in the Jeep.
