Somebody had the idea to do it since we have so many members but only have had a max of 887 on at once, he was trying to see if he could break the max record

I am an admin using vbulletin on another board, and as far as I know, there isn't a mass pm function. emailing yes, pm no. but there's limitations to the email thing too depending on the server host etc.

Who knows what the point is? I do not, except to bring some solidarity and motivation to our members. Get people posting and interested. I say the email thing might be a good way to get the word out. Unless the admin dudes are willing to post a "ad" on the front page calling for a "cherokee forum party". That would be the way to grab some attention.

Call it a Holiday Meet and Greet or something. They probably get paid by advertisers based on number of views. My son has a site like that and he's actually generating some income.

Well, with it being Thanksgiving weekend, a lot of people may be traveling so I'd say go a different date. I missed the last one by 26 minutes, but it doesn't sound like it mattered too much. Anyway, why not go for something like the 5th? 6pm pac, 9 east? It's a Sunday night so most shouldn't be working. We'll just have to take a quick break from the football game.

Ok, Sounds like a plan to change our max posts party to Sunday Dec5th at 6pm Pacific Time. I can do that, lets leave it there unless 500 people want another time and vow to stick to that. LOL
