Do you mean using the stock body mounting position, and just running a slightly longer arm to eliminate fender crushing? lol. Will also recenter the axle after lift, something like this?

modified stock arms, cut, lengthened, angled, lowers. Extended uppers. I used 1/4 plate to do it, works well, I made them a bit over 3 years ago with out any issues.

Will stiff a 33 nicely without crippling the fender, droops ok. (yes I know I need to get rid of my banjo strings, lol).

If you're talking about longer arms in stock locations then, Here's mine under mild flexing.

It stretched my wheelbase slightly and keeps me out of the back of the fender

Around "2 longer than stock I think. Jk lowers and homebrew uppers

They flex pretty decent

Sorry, no work in progress pics. Basically all I did was, come up with measurments on how far forward the axle would have to go to be centered in the wheel well while at ride height, then lobbed the arms in half, made 4 identical angled pieces (1/4 plate), clamped them together at my desired length, threw a couple beads of weld on, checked my work (installed springs, to verify it was where I wanted it), then finished burning the sides in, and then boxed it in. Uppers I just worked in some percentage (I should've went adjustable), they could stand to be a tick longer, my caster is slightly off. Anyway I just welded extensions on the end of the control arms (1/4 plate). Simple set up, Not the best route by any means but handles and rides much better than my stock armed cherokee at 3 1/2"s did (this ones somewhere around 5-5 1/2).

I really appreciate the pics and insight. Thank you. A mid arm is just mounted a little further back from the stock positions. I like them better. The flex seems pretty decent for the setup. Also the arms have less tendency to get hung up on obstacles and such. I've seen long arms get destroyed from falling on rocks. I just like the clearance better than long arms.
