the gears arnt to bad it has enough power to spin the tires in first and second and pull in fifth gear at hwy speeds. and the mini spool isnt that bad havent had any issues yet

The one in left is my daily driver
1999, 4.0, Ax-15, 231 with Dana 30/ Dana 44 axles on 31's with 2.5 inch lift.
The one on the right is my crawler
1999 4.0/aw4/231 with sye, Dana 44/ Dana 44 4.88 gears with Yukon zip locker up front on 35's and 4.5" lift with 3 link up front. Currently building 231/300 doubler

I could type all night about all the mods and fixes this xj has had but I'm more into what's coming up, 2" rough country spacers, curt cargo roof rack, aux fan toggle switch in dash, rear tint to match the stock tints, hood vents and clear coat over patina, lastly fix driver door top hinge. Hopefully by the end of summer we'll be looking good in between the countless projects that come with having a 21 year old daily driver; I learn something new about this xj.

Just put a RE 4.5" lift with 32" Mastercrafts. I bought this jeep from my moms company all original with 130k miles on it for 400$!!!
That's all the flex she's got!!!!
