Default leave it or paint it?
Hey guys i am in need of some personal opinions on painting my XJ grill and light bezels or not. I have a white 1991 XJ Laredo with the chrome grill and want to know if i should paint it all, but leave the two smaller chrome strips between each section of the grill, or just leave it all chrome...?

Chrome grills only look good on the 97+ in my opinion. Paint it!

you can paint it, but you can't get it back to chrome.
so if you want a black grille, go find one. leave the chrome one for the day you want the chrome back.

Or plastidip it. That's what I plan on doing to mine. You can spray it on and once you're done with the black just grab it and remove it. Look it up it looks like cool stuff

I despise chrome, but it looks great on Renix era XJs. This is about the only time I'd ever suggest leaving something chromed.
