Fitting a full size spare. Anything larger than a 32 is pretty much impossible without sacrificing one of three things. Cargo room, visibility, center of gravity. I'd love to put a 35 in the stock location

Meh. I like the unibody. Pretty sweet that a 4 door XJ is lighter than a 2 door TJ. Makes a big difference in snow/mud etc. A couple of my doors dont sit quite right any more but no big deal... I can buy a whole new one for less than 1000$ with a blown engine lol.
I also have cupholders in my 99- spoiled!
I dont like where the alternator sits.
I dont like the leaf springs in the rear.
I dont like how the headliners all eventually sag.
Other than that, I like everything about them. Otherwise I would have a wrangler/4 runner etc.
Most of the problems that have been listed are going to be the case with most every other rig as well- Tjs all came with LPd30 excluding the rubicon. Tjs/YJS almost all came with d35.
None of them have head-room for a large person

Lolz.. I am in the midst of removing the interior rust. Once and for all.. Again.. For the third time.. And not 5 min ago I said to myself I says: put the tire on the roof. Small world.
ON TOPIC: I lovehate the noise my steering wheel makes when turned. Like a non metallic nails-on-chalkboard sound. I'm sure some grease would cure it, but anytime someone's riding with me there's a chuckle every time it happens so I guess it's good for something at least!
