So, the leaf springs are sagging and im looking into replacing them but im not sure what to get. I have a 2" lift and im not sure if i can just get OEM or if i have to get bigger leaf springs. If anyone can help me out that would be great.
Thanks.
Thanks.
depends on what kind of 2", if the 2" used the springs to gain hieght then you need 2' lifted springs, if it used a shackle then you can use the oem. imo just get 2" lift leaf packs then if it used a shackle just do away with it, save it for later use.
Most 2" lifts use shackles or blocks for lifting the rear. Grab a tape measure and check the length of the shackle. A stock shackle is 5" long from top to bottom. If it's longer than that, it's aftermarket. Check under the leaf springs for blocks. If either of these were used, you can replace your sagging springs with OEM ones. If neither shackles nor blocks were used, it's most likely an AAL lift. Personally, I'd recommend getting OEM leaf springs and shackles.
