or highest mileage with regular normal maintenance, that is no replacing of engines, transmissions etc, that anyone one has seen a standard Jeep Cherokee achieve?

I know of one a friend has that is a daily driver and he has just run over 211,000 with it and never done anything but religiously change oil and due tune ups.
I have just turned 160,000 on mine and other than the usual stuff, it is going great.

just curious of what they can really get to before they need serious help.

 

The 1993 I have has 274,000 on it with no engine related problems through its life.

My 96 has almost 221K on it!

 

I've got 325k or so, it's time to rebuild now though.

 

My Xj has 146k and something breaks down about every 2000 miles. I have never had a more unreliable vehicle in my life, so count mine out, hehehe.

 

314k on my 91 209k on my 99 both neglected until I rescued them.

 

My 97 had 260,000 on it when it was wrecked and it was still runnin strong
