Everyone needs to quit being so harsh on Wranglers and other 4x4's... We are all wheeling people and have a serious passion for this sport... All of this "sibling rivalry" will just bring the sport down. Help your fellow wheeler if he is in need.
This is true.

On the other hand, dude's JK will probably out wheel your XJ, and all he will have to do is put a set of quick discos on.

And If its a rubi, it has elec discos.
And ive out wheeled jk's, stock, and overbuilt. I end up with a jk or two hooked up to my bumper pretty often, and im the one pulling them out.
Because belive it or not. Once I hit the trail, and I see jk's they get a little bit of respect from me. At least they are off road. And I never just leave another Wheeler broken, or stuck. Doesnt matter the make or model

Oh you guys.... lol
One of my friends got a new JK (2012) and i had to teach him how to take the doors off and how to take the top down lol. I told him he could have gotten a LJ rubicon for 10k less than his new JK but of course why listen to me lol? His dad told him hes never allowed to take it off road and he'll be going to college over 200 miles away... What a good commuter haha. And to top it off he got the basic 16 inch wheels that make his Jeep look like a hot wheels car... At least he listened to me about getting a 2012 if he had to get a JK... (and he didnt know what JK was either) Then after this another guy came over with an 09 JK and i out wheeled him on some trails with my 2WD XJ haha

lol wow, I received an infraction for my last post. sorry... Just having a hard time believing that telling someone to "grow the f up" is at all worse than the other types of things being said all over this forum.

My second car was an '87 Z24 (one year only z24 w the older boxy shape) 5spd w the MPFI 2.8. MAN...that was one of the funner cars ive owned and ive had many many cars since then. there are plenty of faster cars, but those are just fun to drive.

Hey, sorry, but this isnt "Cherokee tech" where you usually are. Cherokee chat....it was a chat that started out with relevancy to the original post, but as chats sometimes tend to do, it drifted a small amount. just deal.
