jeep death wabble need help

Default jeep death wabble need help

i bought a 1987 jeep wagonner with a six inch lift on 33x10.5 r 15 tires and it has the speed wabbles really bad from 30 mph and up what should i do to fix it? oh and the guy i bought it from pushed the front end forward 3/4 of an inch.

mines doing that the shop said i needed a new steering stabilizer

do a search on death wobble. most common problems are alignment, worn front end parts, tires out of balance.

don't buy a oem replacment, go on ebay and buy the Rough Country heavy duty one I got one for $30 shipped. I was having real bad bump steer on my ZJ after lifting it and going bigger tires, the after market steering stab cured that. my OEM one was still good it just wasn't stiff enough.
