I just bought a 1990 jeep cherokee pioneer
does anybody know what is special about the pioneer part
does any one know what running gears are in it
and what are the biggest tires i can push with it
any one selling any tube doors or lift kits

The pioneer is a just a trim package, I.E. Laredo, Classic, Country, Sport, Briarwood etc. Depends on what axles you have as far as what gears. If theres a lip underneath the rear diff cover, you have the CryCo 8.25 (the better) rear end. If its round / no lip, you most likely have the Dana 35. Front is always the Dana 30 (A great stock front axle IMO) As far as what size tires you can push stock; a 30'' inch tall by 9.5" inch wide tire is as big as you can go with no trimming of the fender flares.
