Jeep Cherokee Clear Taillights (Non Euro)
I had been eying these up for some time on the 'bay and finally got them. Plus they look great on a silver Jeep.

For all you guys that want a different look, something you cannot buy for your xj. Here is what I did to my two 97 xj's that were red( this really looks cool on a red xj) but I will be doing on my white 95. This is an application for your tailights and won;t look like anyother. Go to your local auto accessorie store and buy a smal roll of red window tint. Once you have the red tint, cut a 12x6 inch square. Then carefully apply it over the bottom of your tailights( to cover up the reverse light and turning signal.) Now your entire tailight will be red. Just make sure you have a yellow bulb to put into the turn signal, and a white bulb in the reverse light. This really looks nice, and is different then all the lights you can buy out there.

They also sell a transparent spray for that in both red and black. I would think the tint wouldn't look so good. Any pics?
You can see from a few of the angles that the bulb is barely visible.
The bulbs are not bad at all actually, I was considering LED lights but then you have to deal with them flickering so bad and having to buy and hook up separate resistors.

Those do look good on the silver XJ. With my "old style" XJ I also got sick of the yellow/red combo & wanted a different look. But I didn't like what was available at the time (Altezzas) nor the $200+ price tag. So I went down memory lane for the face lift. Red XJ, all red lenses (except reverse) from a Wagoneer, and no modification. Not easy to find, not common.
