I have a freind that swears by the treadrights.

get whatever rims the fewest people have. Because obviously how your jeep looks is the most important thing that contributes to performance. For example, since so many people have soft 8's, when you put them on your jeep, your performance will probably go DOWN.
Best rims are the ones that the fewest people have, because they off road better. I know some guy who had custom rims machined for his 2wd cherokee sport, and he made it up Rubicon without a lift. Same trip, this guy who had a 6" lift full lockers, and disconnects got stuck about 30 mins in. Probably because he had soft 8s. |
I dont unferstand how rims could get you stuck..

Those aren't MTRs at Walmart. If I'm right you're talking about those Goodyear mud terrain duratrac looking things. Forget the name. I asked goodyear about them. The guy told me they have weak sidewalls but are otherwise a good tire. So for a DD that doesn't see abuse they'd probably be OK. I've thought about getting them.

They are just good year wranglers that only walmart stocks and carries..only 150 for a 31.. Which actually measures out about a 30..Almost all tires run a bit small..but these are like an entire inch small..Thin sidewalls yes, but a decent tire for a decent price. Probably will be the next set for the ladies commander. |
