If you had the same part listed twice on your website, one for $49 and one for $8, which would you tell them to buy?

I'm looking for someone who has bought the $8 part to verify that it is the correct one.

If JCR doesn't know how to help you then you shouldn't buy from them. They should be the authority on their products.

Might be the poly spacer you put in your steering linkage to keep it from rolling with the 1 ton.

You're missing the point. He doesn't want JCR's help. He wants to know if the part is the same without contacting them, because if it is, and he calls, they might say that it's a mistake and fix the $8 price before he can order it. Calling them up to ask could blow a ridiculously good deal.

ETA: OP, I looked at the site where you indicated. The "XJ Steering Spacer" item on the "Replacement Bolt Packs" page appears to just be a replacement bolt pack to go with the steering spacer, NOT the spacer itself. If you order that $8 item, you'll just get a bag of bolts that you would need to mount the steering spacer.

Turns out that the two parts are totally different and JCR didn't make a mistake but what I don't agree with is this....

"Hurry up and help me so I can try to take advantage of a vendor who might have made a mistake on their website and get a part for way less than it should be"

Yeah, I know that's not was was said, but we all know that's what the intent was.

You are right. I am not that into capitalizing on other's mistakes. Saving a few bucks on a part that doesn't do what you need it to do isn't actually saving anything.

Just trying to be helpful.

One is a bolt pack, hence the heading. The hardware that holds it in.

It was also more of "hurry up so I can fix my jeep and get to work on Friday."

This is hostile?!? No high horses here either. Provide the right information and links to what you're looking at and you will get a correct educated response.

I didn't want guesses which is what I would have gotten had I supplied links. I wanted advice from people who actually bought either item. If you have to go to the link to understand my question, then I didn't want your reply anyway.

Guesses do me no good, I needed to know someone else's experiences with the mentioned products.
